I have always been inspired by the character and likeness of an individual and have produced images of people in a range of media that is collected and commissioned by private individuals, galleries, institutions and companies world-wide.

Moving forward from the investigation of stereotypical representations of an individual and their likeness, I have questioned ideas of standard representation, individuality, reproduction and authorship in portraiture.  This has moved me on to explore the concept of physical memory left behind by an individual; the traces and vibrations that people unconsciously leave behind, and the interrelationships between an individual and their environment.

This has culminated in a body of work where I have developed a form of forensic printmaking, using the traces and residues of a person as a resist to the etching process.

I have also been investigating the concept of non-seperability, the dynamic flow of incessant interactions and the mysterious processes of change and exchange between the observer and the observed.

I also work as a Creative Education Consultant in Education enabling students to unleash their creativity, find a voice and explore a wide range of media.
